At ProSmile Dentistry Parisa Zarbafian, DDS, your health and the health of our staff are of the utmost importance. Additionally, every half hour to an hour we wipe down the waiting room and common spaces with disinfectant.
For the protection of all our patients and staff due the recent outbreak of coronavirus, we are requesting the following:
- If you have an illness or are exhibiting symptoms, we recommend you cancel and reschedule your dental appointment. Some illness and symptoms include:
- a cold or the flu
- fever or nausea
- severe headaches or body aches
- muscle or stomach pain, chest pain or difficulty breathing
- vomiting or diarrhea
- active tuberculosis (TB)

- other contagious disease
- Please notify our staff before your appointment if you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (ex. China, Italy, Iran, South Korea) or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or who was quarantined as a precaution.
If you are healthy, there’s no need to cancel your regularly scheduled dental appointment.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us immediately. The below links provide additional information regarding the coronavirus:
We have implemented several changes to our office protocol to protect you and our team. Our commitment to infection control has always been a top priority. We are now routinely checking the temperatures of all patients and ourselves, as well as having each patient hand sterilize prior to entering treatment rooms. Each patient is also screened by providing information to us on a thorough questionnaire. There are HEPA filter air purifiers throughout our office as well.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. This might mean there will be fewer options for scheduling you appointments. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. We ask that you call or text us from your car when you arrive, in order to minimize any contact with other patients. PLEASE WEAR A MASK WHEN YOU ARRIVE.
Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have. We completely understand if you are not comfortable to come in at this time. We are doing our best to accommodate the wishes of all of our patients, while adhering to state and local directives. We are happy to help any way we can. If you are feeling unwell or have lingering symptoms of any kind of cold or illness, we ask that you wait until you are symptom-free before scheduling an appointment at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we all navigate these uncharted waters. We look forward to seeing you soon.
